Looking to get your kids, or even fur-babies, photographed with jolly old St. Nick this year? We have out together a comprehensive list of our top places to go in Atlanta, Georgia.

Phipps Plaza

November 1 – December 24
Families and friends are invited to take a photo and list off the top selections on their wish lists with jolly Saint Nicholas! Reservations for Santa photos are only available at santaatphipps.com. Note: No walk-up or stand in line visits will be allowed. This is a reservations-only Santa, as he is one of the most popular St. Nicks in Atlanta.


Ponce City Market

Visitors can take photos with Santa while enjoying a rotating roster of choirs, musicians, and other festive weekend entertainers. Hot cocoa, peppermint bark, holiday popsicle flavors, cider, and more will be available from Williams Sonoma, King of Pops, and the Mercury to enjoy around cozy fire pits, and Santa’s hours will be 10:30AM-6PM on Nov 24-26, Dec 17, and Dec 21-24, and 3PM-9PM on Dec 2-3, Dec 9-10, and Dec 16.


Christmas at Silver City Farm

Go back in time with your family this Christmas, in Cumming at Silver City Farm. A gourmet breakfast is included in your ticket price. There’s also live music and cookie decorating. You’ll spend time with Santa for the ultimate photo (and a little time to remind him of your holiday list.) You’ll go home with a printed photo and memories to last a lifetime. Dec 9 and 10th, 2017 9:30am – 2pm. Admission: $18 for adults, $12 for kids 1 year and older. (Children under 12 months old are free of charge.)


Stone Mountain Christmas

Each evening Santa makes his grand entrance during the 6 pm parade and greets children until the Snowfall Celebration begins. There is a fee to enter Stone Mountain Christmas, but no additional fee to see Santa (although pictures are extra and you may not use your own camera). In addition to visiting Santa, kids can also visit the Snow Queen prior to her nightly “flight”. There is an abundance of other activities included in the admission price including several musical shows, story times, and a holiday sing-a-long train ride.


Candlelight Tours at Atlanta History Center

Ho-ho-ho! Experience Christmas past with a candlelit stroll through beautifully decorated gardens.  Guests are welcomed by a lively Christmas Market filled with local crafts and artisanal creations. Visit the three historic houses to experience how Southerners celebrated Christmas during the pioneer days, the Civil War era, and the 1930s. Members can visit the Candlelight Tours Lounge for exclusive benefits including photos with Santa, cookie and ornament decorating and more. Candlelight Nights will take place on the evenings of December 15th and December 22nd. This holiday program is $20/non-members, $15/members, $10 for children.


Atlanta Falcons Game – Toys for Tots Event

Come out to Mercedes Benz Stadium Sunday, December 18th for the annual Toys for Tots Event. The hometown Atlanta Falcons are taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a Sunday Night Football match up. Game starts at 8:45 pm. You may even see Santa Rick who will be on hand when the gates open collecting toys for Toys for Tots and taking free pictures with fans.

Santa at Avalon

Ho! Ho! Ho! Join jolly Old Saint Nick in his cozy cottage at Avalon for a dose of Christmas magic this holiday season! Santa will be making his way from the North Pole starting November 20th through December 24th.  He will be around for the holiday season to spread Christmas cheer, take photos with children and families, share magical moments with those who visit him and more.  Santa reservations are already sold out for the year as of November 11th, but walk ups are available every day. Note: personal camera photos are only allowed if you are purchasing photos.

There are several special events at The Avalon this holiday season including:

  • Pet Photos with Santa: Sunday, December 3rd, 10th, and 17th from 4PM to 7PM. Bring your furry friends for photos and treats with Santa! Walk-ups only for this event.
  • Breakfast with Santa: Saturday, December 16th and Sunday, December 17th Make it a tradition and join Santa for an authentic breakfast with all the good boys and girls. Breakfast with Santa will be held at Chick-fil-A on Saturday and Oak Steakhouse on Sunday. To RSVP for Chick-fil-A, click hereOak Steakhouse reservations have been fully booked.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens: Botanical St. Nick

Meet Saint Nick clad in his dark green robe and botanical head wreath on Saturdays starting on November 25th.  Bring a camera to take your own photos. Time with Santa is included with daily admission.


Georgia Aquarium: Festival of the SEAson

For the tenth year in a row, guests can catch sight of SCUBA Claus diving into Ocean Voyager Built by The Home Depot and swimming among the whale sharks, manta rays and thousands of fish during the dive shows every Thursday through Sunday until December 25. If you’d rather see Santa on the other side of the water, he has scheduled times in the Georgia Aquarium atrium from November 18th through December 24th.


Santa at The Battery ATL

Come see Santa Claus inside the new park surrounding SunTrust Stadium. Santa will make an appearance at The Battery weekends starting November 18. Best of all,  it’s FREE and includes one free print of your photo with the big guy.
