Atlanta's Top Farmers Markets 2016With the warmer weather, what better time to get outside and pick your own light and fresh, local foods?

Atlanta has you covered with a large selection of farmers markets to choose from that provide inexpensive and locally grown fare. And we’ve put together a list to help you find one near you!

Enjoy a relaxing and leisurely morning outside choosing your fresh fruits and veggies for the week, sampling local bakery items and seeing fresh flowers and art from local vendors, all while supporting your local farmers in Georgia!

1. Westside Farmers Market

Open Sundays 10AM to 2PM (April 10 – December 18)

Voted Atlanta’s Best New Farmers Market in 2015 by Atlanta Magazine

2. Brookhaven Farmers Market

Open: Saturdays 9AM to NOON (April 16- December 10)

This year there are over 40 vendors and double the produce sellers since 2015. Offers local produce, local foods, kombucha brew, fresh juices and other artisanal goods. Pet and kid friendly!

3. Decatur Farmers Market

Open: Saturdays 9AM to NOON and Wednesdays 4PM to 7PM (April 2 – Dec 21)

Open Tuesdays from 4PM to 8PM (May 3 – December 20)

Open Sundays 9:30AM to 1:30PM (April 3 – Dec 18)

8. Smyrna Farmers Market

Open Saturdays 8AM to NOON (May – September)

Easily access this market in downtown Smyrna. You’ll find fresh fruits and vegetables according to the season!

9. Alpharetta Farmers Market

Open Saturdays 8:30AM to 1PM (April – December)

10. Your Dekalb Farmers Market

Open daily 9AM to 9PM

Atlanta’s staple farmers market that you hear everyone rave about! It’s all true! They offer a wide selection of local and imported foods, including grass-fed meats, an extensive selection of very inexpensive spices, wine and beer, produce, cheese, pastries made in house, and also a small restaurant with fresh foods prepared daily!

11. Sandy Springs Farmers Market

Open Saturdays 8:30AM to NOON (April 16 – October 29)

45+ vendors provide local produce, pasture-raised meat and pork products, farm fresh eggs and dairy products, and a variety of prepared foods. Local artists and jewelers are on rotation!

12. Marietta Square Farmers Market

Open Saturdays 9AM to NOON (April – December)
